We are a medium-sized cattle and transport operation based in Ashburton, supporting three busy businesses within the group. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a capable and adaptable Group Business Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting the Director and wider team with a wide range of administration and operational tasks.
Key responsibilities:
*Administration support across three businesses
*Collecting, organising, and filing operational information
*Tracking livestock and truck movements
*NAIT compliance, including hands-on NAIT scanning of cattle
*Managing and operating multiple software platforms
*Preparing spreadsheets, reports, and documentation
*Liaising with drivers and coordinating information into the systems
*Social media and communication support
*Assisting with HR, onboarding, and general office duties
*Liaising with our finance team regarding payments and accounts queries
*Full-time role – hours are negotiable to suit your lifestyle.
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
*Comfortable using multiple software packages
*A confident communicator across all levels
*Able to work well in a busy, changing environment
*Experienced in administration (agri or transport experience a bonus)
*Confident communicating with drivers to recover accurate information
