Operations Support
- Full-time, permanent role based in Ashburton
- Monday – Friday hours (7.00am – 4.00pm)

We’re supporting a well-established organisation in the primary industries / food processing sector that is looking for someone to join their Livestock Administration team in Ashburton.
This is a varied, admin-heavy role with a strong focus on payments, reconciliations, and data accuracy, offering the chance to work closely with operations, finance, and external stakeholders.
About the role
In this role, you’ll support day-to-day operations by managing and checking payment-related information, reconciling data across systems, and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.
You’ll be involved in:
- Processing and reconciling payments and invoices
- Reviewing data for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers
- Supporting reporting and general administration using Excel and internal systems
- Helping maintain smooth, efficient processes in a fast-paced environment
About You:
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Experience in a senior or experienced administration role, particularly one involving complex information
- A solid understanding of numbers and basic accounting principles
- Confidence working across multiple systems, with strong Excel skills
- A proven ability to spot errors and resolve discrepancies
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to stay calm and accurate in a deadline-driven environment
- A proactive, self-directed approach and confidence working independently
Previous experience in a payments, finance-support, or operations-focused admin role will be helpful but not essential - training will be provided. This role suits someone who enjoys problem solving, juggling priorities, and working with numbers.
