Operations Coordinator

We’re looking for an administrator to support our client in Ashburton. This full-time, permanent position offers variety, hands-on tasks, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

If you enjoy working with great people, juggling different responsibilities, and being the “go-to” support person for a small but dedicated team, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role: You’ll provide day-to-day administrative, operational, and financial support, helping ensure things run smoothly and efficiently. This position is a key support role to the manager and wider team.

  • Providing general administrative and operational support across the business
  • Supporting budgeting activities and basic financial tracking
  • Reviewing data for accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining reliable records

This role suits someone who enjoys problem solving, juggling priorities, and working with numbers.

  • Processing and reconciling payments and invoices
  • Reviewing data for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
  • Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Supporting reporting and general administration using Excel and internal systems
  • Helping maintain smooth, efficient processes in a fast-paced environment

About you: You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Highly organised, reliable, and proactive
  • Comfortable working autonomously - calm, practical and able to handle competing priorities
  • An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Confident with technology and systems (including solid Excel skills)
