The RMO Support Service at Waikato Hospital is looking for a superstar Recruitment Coordinator to join our team !

About the Role
This fulltime, fixed term role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and wants to play a key part in supporting our Resident Medical Officers (RMOs).

Youll be steering the full recruitment journey for our RMOs shortlisting top talent, guiding candidates through the process, and making sure every new doctor feels genuinely welcomed from day one.
Be the guardian of compliance, keeping everything aligned with Medical Council standards, Immigration requirements, and employment legislation so our processes stay sharp, safe, and seamless.
Alongside this, youll help us shape smarter recruitment strategies that support the Districts future workforce needs because great planning today means great care tomorrow.

About the Team/Service
You will be joining a team of three other recruiters who work side by side in a fastmoving, timesensitive environment, delivering great results while keeping our team culture positive and enjoyable.
About you
To thrive in this role, youll bring a great mix of organisation, people skills, and a dash of problemsolving flair.
Required skills and experience
- Be well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Highly skilled at context switching and multi-tasking
- Highly competent in computer usage, including Microsoft Office in particular Word and Excel
- Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels
- Able to work with high volumes of work while maintaining quality
- Self-directed and able to meet critical deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving and initiative
- Continuous improvement awareness
- Previous HR/Recruitment experience, preferably in the medical field
