As our workload continues to grow, we’re looking for a Customer Service / Receptionist / Scheduler to join our busy South Auckland office.

This is a permanent, full-time, office-based role and a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their career who wants to learn, grow, and build real skills in customer service, scheduling, and sales.

About the role You’ll be the friendly voice of Regency Plumbing — answering calls, booking jobs, liaising with customers and plumbers, following up quotes, and helping keep the day running smoothly.

This is a high-volume, phone-based role in a fast-paced environment, so you’ll need to stay calm under pressure, think ahead, and enjoy being busy.

You’ll receive full training and ongoing support from our office team and directors. An immediate start is available, and the more training time you have early on, the better — as our South Auckland Branch Manager will be off for surgery later in the year.

What you’ll be doing

  • Answering and managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
  • Booking and scheduling plumbing and gas fitting jobs
  • Liaising with customers, plumbers, and subcontractors
  • Following up quotes, leads, and sales opportunities
  • Assisting with bathroom renovation scheduling and coordination
  • Keeping job information accurate and up to date in our system (SIMPRO – training provided)
  • Helping keep the office running efficiently and professionally

This role will suit someone who is:

  • Friendly, confident, and enthusiastic on the phone
  • Naturally organised and good at juggling multiple tasks
  • Sales-minded and motivated to turn enquiries into booked work
  • Calm, resilient, and reliable in a busy front-line role
  • Willing to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks
  • Well presented, punctual, and professional
  • A clear communicator with strong spoken and written English
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems

Previous experience is helpful but not essential — attitude, energy, and willingness to learn matter most.

Hours & location

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:30am – 5:00pm (45 hours per week)
  • Office-based role in Papakura
  • Free staff parking
  • No weekends

Reliable attendance is critical — the wider team depends on you being there and ready to go each day.
