Description
GRAIN toy sewing machine in great condition with original box. Circa 1940s. All mechanisms still move, round and round, up and down, and makes classic sewing/stitching noise. No rust. As per photos box is not in good condition. Cast iron with chrome & metal on hard wood base with feet. Green paint and chrome all in excellent condition. There are some scratches on the wood base as per photos.
NOTE: This is not really made for "real" sewing. It can make stitches though. There is no needle, we believe our grandparents removed it because they thought it was too dangerous. Hence we didn't play with it much and it is in great condition.
Made in England. Nottingham. The machine base is 225mm long x 145mm deep. Height of machine on top of base is 165mm
