Tapa cloth depicting a bird (perhaps a dove of peace ... or simply a seabird?) over mountains and sea, and with something in its beak ... a fish? Plant-life for nest-making? I've always loved this piece ... it's SO like a Don Binney bird over the mountains! I just don't have enough wall-space in my seriously-down-sized home. Purchased in the Fijian Islands more than 35 years ago and eventually framed ... the tapa cloth is float-mounted within a handsome box-frame .. *was just on $200 - rather a lot more than the tapa cloth cost me! But such a unique result :- D 68.5cms high x 72cms wide.
