Impressive original oil painting by renowned Australian/British artist Will Longstaff (1879–1953), best known for his iconic World War I memorial paintings and atmospheric landscapes.

Longstaff served as an official war artist during WWI and became famous for his haunting and highly collectible “ghost” battlefield scenes.
