I have for auction a pair of 1960s "Hunter Chairs". Original design by Torbjorn Afdal and made in Norway. This pair are probably by, NZ company J W Backhouse.

The 2 chairs are in good condition. The leather squabs are in excellent condition. No rips or holes. The Beech frames are solid. A number of connecting dowels have been replaced. The frames cleaned. Scuffs and light bumps to armrest leather straps. The canvas slings have faded. Typical wear and tear for these chairs!

These wonderful chairs are great examples of the Scandi Modern Aesthetic. Beautiful with Solid frames and solid Brass links.
