Speck on left hand side of cabinet must have been something on the camera lens - last 2 images update shows it speck free.

The television sat on top and underneath sat the video recorder with the video tapes stored on the shelf below. Glass doors kept the area dust free. Every home had one until we started hanging TV's on the wall.
