Description
Previously purchased in an antique jewellery auction in the 1990s, this bracelet is a timeless treasure.
Designed with a triple row pearl pin/cement set of half moon shaped links that are 14ct gold and has a 14K clip and safety chain for both beauty and security.
There are 17 larger Akoya type sea water cultured pearls, each ranging from 6.7mm to 6.4mm through the middle of the bracelet. These pearls are off white with faint pink/green overtone and are of good quality.
There are 36 smaller pearls parallel either side of the larger pearls (see photos). These are of medium-dark cream colouring and are good quality as well.
This bracelet is 17.5cm in length and has a width of 17.2mm. It weighs 22.81 grams. The gold has been verified through electronic testing.
Pearls in History: For centuries, pearls have symbolized purity, wisdom, and wealth. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, cultured pearls became prized heirlooms, often gifted to mark life’s most significant milestones.
14ct Gold: The use of 14ct gold not only enhances durability but also provides a warm, rich tone that complements the pearls’ natural glow.
Antique Appeal: The bracelet carries the enduring charm of antique jewelry—pieces like this are increasingly sought after for their rarity, craftsmanship, and investment value.
Condition & Collectability: This bracelet remains in good condition, with both pearls and gold links retaining their integrity and polish. Its combination of fine materials, balanced design, and historical resonance makes it a versatile piece—equally suited for elegant daily wear or as a cherished addition to a collector’s jewelry cabinet.
This bracelet is a wearable piece of history, carrying forward the artistry of pearl cultivation and goldsmithing into the present day.
