***STUNNING VINTAGE LEADLIGHT LAMP SURROUND / CONVERTED TERRARIUM***

This auction is for an elegant stained glass leadlight lamp surround which has been converted / repurposed from a vintage leadlight terrarium.

There is a purpose drilled hole in the glass at the top and bottom, as can be seen in the photos, to allow any rain water to drain out if used as an exterior light.

If used as a terrarium the hole can be filled with a bung or covered with sphagnum moss, carpet, rubber, plastic etc.

Terrariums can be created as either dry or wet, depending on the desired type of ecosystem and planting required. Booklet will be supplied to purchaser.

Excellent condition for its age, but for a crack in the small top glass below the hanging handle / bale. Reserve price lowered accordingly.

If required the cracked top glass can be replaced at small cost by glazier, for example, ‘Touch of Glass’ in Royal Oak, Auckland.
