British Army BROAD ARROW Marked ELGIN 7 Jewel MILITARY Pocket Watch USA-Made WW1
The watch is not running, but it looks pretty clean inside, and I do not see any damage (NOT that I am any kind of "expert" on watches)
So I would GUESS that it has at least been OVER-WOUND, and is in need of service or repair
SOLD as a "Display item" ONLY but you may find there is bugger-all wrong with it....if so = lucky you :-)
I found an almost identical watch in a book called "A concise Guide to Military Timepieces 1880 - 1920" by Z. M. Wesolowski (1996)
So I would guess that this is a highly collectable watch and well worthy of RESTORATION
