Vintage Classic SB Barometer with Wooden Horseshoe Mount - Working
Classic vintage SB (Shortland Bowen) barometer, made in England and set into a dark wooden horseshoe-style mount. Traditional analog display shows weather readings like "Stormy", "Rain", "Change", "Fair", and "Very Dry", with an adjustment screw at the back for calibration. Solid and nicely made, with a chrome bezel and clear glass face. Works as expected and makes a good feature on the wall or shelf – especially in a workshop, office, or holiday home.
Condition and Measurements In good used condition. The wooden case has some light wear and small marks here and there, but nothing major. Chrome bezel is clean, glass is intact and clear. Mechanism appears to function correctly. Case measures approx 18cm wide x 18cm tall x 4cm thick. The barometer face itself is about 9.5cm in diameter.
