Classic Nikken (Tokyo) vintage binocular microscope, serial no. 32859. Heavy metal construction with twin eyepieces and a turret of unusual low-power objectives – great for macro viewing of insects, rocks, slides, electronics work, stamps etc.

Binocular head with two eyepieces, smooth interpupillary adjustment
Rotating objective turret fitted with 2×, 4× and 6× objectives – a rare low-power set not commonly found on standard lab scopes
Coarse and fine focus both running smoothly
Tilting mirror for sub-stage illumination
Optics present and give a clear, bright image in both eyes
Mechanically in very good working condition – focus, turret and mirror all operate as they should
Important: the original specimen stage plate is missing but an easy fix.
Ideal for a collector of vintage Japanese microscopes, a restoration project, or as a very cool working instrument for hobby microscopy.
