Description
Ref: KM 151. 11.32 grams of .917 fine (22 carat) gold. Superb Chinese rarity, meticulously stored for 39 years by its previous owner. Originally issued as part of a worldwide set of gold coins marking the 25th Anniversary of the founding of the World Wildlife Fund.
Due to its low mintage this coin seldom comes on the market. However, at an auction of Stacks and Bowers in May 2022, a superb example graded MS70 sold for US$2,640. Our asking price is just US$1,700 plus GST and Trade me and Ping fees. Despite the recent decrease in the price of gold, this coin has a net fine gold content, inclusive of GST, of over $3,200.
In original cardboard folder, with the coin in its protective acrylic capsule.
PROOF condition.
