I have for sale from my own collection an 1885/3 gold half sovereign from the reign of Queen Victoria graded and slabbed by NGC as AU53 (almost uncirculated, but equivalent to extra fine condition). This coin is classified R4 - very rare by Marsh in the latest edition of 'The Gold Sovereign'.
