The Perth Mint proudly presents a trio of bullion coins featuring the iconic kookaburra, expertly crafted from 99.99% pure silver and available in 1kilo, 10oz, and 1oz sizes.
Key Features
The reverse design features the design of a kookaburra perched on a branch, including a privy mark of the original 1990-dated Kookaburra coin encircled by radiating lines, along with the inscription 'KOOKABURRA 35TH ANNIVERSARY'. All coin designs incorporate a ‘P’ mintmark signifying The Perth mint, the 2025 year-date, the weight and purity. The obverse of the coin showcases the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, along with the monetary denomination. Each coin’s reverse side incorporates a security feature: a micro-laser engraved letter within the design, visible only under magnification. Limited mintage of 500,000 only for 1oz coins. While there is no mintage limit for the 1 kilo and 10oz coins, production will conclude at the end of 2025, after which The Perth Mint will announce the official mintage numbers.
