A studio pottery goblet from Fursbreck Pottery, Harra, Orkney, part of their 'Roman Black' range. This series was designed to reflect the form and character of ancient Roman pottery, with careful attention to line, texture and traditional finishing techniques. The piece is handthrown and finished in a deep black glaze with ribbed texture and baluster stem. It is stamped to the base and includes the original paper label detailing the range’s historical inspiration.
