Up for auction is an incredibly scarce New Zealand Miner's Right from Waipori.
Issued by the mining registrar in 1904 to James McNeil in Lawrence, Otago, this miners right is a scarce survivor New Zealand gold mining history.
James McNeil operated a dredging claim known as "Special Claim 34a" along with several mining partners - Happy to provide further information to the winning bidder should it be requested.

No. 47014 District and place of issue: Otago, Lawrence To whom issued: James McNeil Date of issue: 20th day of November 1904 Date of Expiry: 19th day of November 1905 Fee paid: Five shillings Dated and issued at: Lawrence, this 21st day of November, 1904 Not transferable.
