Description
A very good condition dinner menu supplied to passengers on Tuesday the 23rd of June, 1959, aboard the 22nd voyage of the RMS Ruahine, of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The front cover is a fine rendering of Lincoln Cathedral.
The New Zealand Shipping Company operated from 1873 to 1973 before being absorbed into P&O. The particular incarnation of the Ruahine this menu is from is the third, a passenger motor ship which operated from 1951 to 1968.
