A beautiful old wall map - genuine vintage/antique.
GILL'S SIMPLIFIED WALL MAP SERIES.
The map is linen backed and has ebonised batons top and bottom.
The batons are approx 95.7cms long. The map is approx 94.2 x 67cms.
This has got some really good age to it and is showing general signs of age and use. There is damage to the top right hand corner and damage/wear down the left hand side. There have been some fabric repairs to the back and a hole put in the top for the string. It's also been rolled up for a long time so will need some time or attention to hang flat - not a biggie.
The map still displays really well and is all the more lovely for it's wear and tear in my opinion.
Appealing use of colours and a really attractive and decorative item.
