Description

A nice old retro wooden jar, perhaps a tobacco jar or humidor ? possibly hand made or turned ?? . Possibly Rimu? Has a sticker under the lid that says Crown Quality made in New Zealand. Am guessing late 1940s to 1950s, but do not really know, so is sold as is. I think it is in good condition for age, minor scrapes and marks etc, but still fine I think. Seems to have some highlighting spray paint on it. This is either original or applied latter, so either keep as is or give a quick sand back & oil etc. Measures approx 140mm odd high including the lid, approx 90mm deep, and approx 120mm at its widest. A neat collectable old New Zealand piece from yesteryear. Thanks. refN8064201
