Large antique Scottish solid silver agate mounted brooch. Mid Victorian example c1860 - 1880. Silver scroll decoration with naive thistle engravings. Polished contrasting agate stones mounted on heavy solid silver. Not marked - as was typical of Scottish silver from this era. Weight - 23 grams. Measures: 70mm width x 28mm length.
