We love this old antique crystal orb ball watch ribbon bow watch

Dating from the Victorian era this watch is in the form of a crystal orb ball and as pictured the skeleton mechanism can be viewed through the crystal

This is a wind up watch and appears to work with movement but does stop so may need a service and is being sold as a none working collectible piece as we have not measured the time keeping on this

The brooch is stamped B & W and Sterling

The watch is in original condition and there is some silver tarnish, this will come off with a polish but we are leaving this in the original condition as this is important to collectors. We cannot see a makers name on the watch

The porcelain watch face has a hairline line and there are a few blemishes to the crystal orb but overall in good antique condition

A lovely watch that may of been worn by a nurse given that it is in brooch form. The brooch clip could be unclipped and a chain attached if required to be worn as a necklace instead

The glass orb ball watch measures 26 mm, the ribbon bow brooch is 32 x 15 mm and the silver chains drops 80 mm including the lobster clasp
