Beautifully crafted artisan necklace in a dense foxtail or plaited woven silver design. Believed to be solid sterling silver based on weight, finish, and lack of visible wear. The piece is highly tactile with a pleasing drape, featuring detailed twisted wire terminals and a traditional hook clasp—characteristic of handcrafted silver jewellery from India or Southeast Asia, popular from the 1980s onward.

The necklace bears a small “G.S” mark to one end, likely the silversmith’s initials. This style is consistent with high-quality export jewellery made for Western markets, appreciated for both its craftsmanship and wearable modern style.
