A wonderful large solitaire rose cut diamond ring, a Georgian mourning style, in solid rose gold with engraved black enamel inlay detail, a high setting, a neat ring

The Diamond is 5mm in diameter, a foil back diamond, with an estimated weight of 0.39 carats, a clear and sparkling stone with some inclusions. Tested.

( I have just located the original details, and was xrf tested at a lower 7.5carat gold, yet the diamond larger stated as 5.7mm diameter and 59 points !?... by my calculations it is around 39points, but I have not used a vernier to measure this, but it is a good size, and some inclusions as mentioned.)

Inside measures 18mm for sizing

No idea of age, am suggesting it maybe a recent ring by comparison, but Georgian style. . at least twenty years, and in excellent condition, some small losses to enamel as can be seen.
