Africa General Service Medals

The Africa General Service Medals is a reference document about the Campaigns in Africa, the medals earned by those who took part in these campaigns and a brief history of these events which range from circa 1815 through to the Kikuyu and Mau Mau campaigns.

This is a hard bound book with dust cover and contains nigh on 200 pages Printed circa 1979.

There is a brief account of each of these engagements and a bibliography of books which contain more information about the particular campaigns . There are several maps in this book and one large fold out map at the end of the book. The following medals are mentioned Ashantee Medal, Central Africa Medal, East and West Africa Medal East and Central Africa Medal, Ashanti Star and Ashanti Medal (note diference in titles) and this book.
