A group of Second World War Stalag 18A Prisoner of War photographs, circa 1940 Stalag 18A, Wolfsberg, Austria Comprising 12 Second World War military Prisoner of War photographs of New Zealand prisoners taking part in pastimes and work parties including Rugby and dressing up as New Zealand Maori's. Thousands of young men from the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand were sent to fight the Germans in Greece and Crete in 1941 during the Second World War; many of the captured troops were sent to Stalag 18A. Condition Overall good order. All bowed. curved. Wear and some fading. Measuring: 98 x 70mm approx. Condition: Very good with One Faded. Condition is our own opinion. Please look at images. What you see is what will be delivered. These Photographs can be viewed at our shop in Remuera.
