Description
Genuine Antique brass fireman’s helmet. Most likely 1880’s - early 1900’s
I don’t know it’s origin or history. It belonged to a family member.
The front badge is missing.
Well worn with some dents. (Apparently the wear and tear is OK - shows authenticity)
Comes with genuine axe cut.
The Dragon on the right hand side of the comb is painted with enamel paint. I’m not sure if this has meaning? or indicates rank?
It still has leather interior and straps. The brass rings could be reattached.
It seems like a rare and beautiful piece.
