Description
Here we have a Coleman Empire 237 kero Lantern. It is larger than most lanterns so would have given out a good light. These were made for many years and you can tell the date made by the numbers next to the logo. In this case D 41 indicates 1941. D may indicate dual fuel Kero and gasoline which it is. Glass is good. Complete but needs a good polish and new seals. Should come up well. This would have been an expensive lantern in its day. With the date, and being a rare dual fuel, did it come over with the American Troops maybe?
