This auction is for an antique Meiji period Imari vase signed. It is hand painted with colourful bird and floral patterns in opening frame on gilding coral red background. It is old with beautiful natural formed aged crazing graze. Condition: It is in very good condition with no chips and cracks. There is a hole at the bottom as it was once planned to use as lamp base. Base marks: Imari in Han characters and some handwrite Japanese words as shown on the photos attached. Measurements: Height without wooden stand: 378mm Top rim diameter: 160mm Widest width on body: 220mm Bottom rim diameter: 138mm

The wooden stand is not included in this auction.
