Description
Abelisaur (dinosaur) fossil tooth - 12mm - 15mm Late Cretaceous period (Cenomanian), 100 - 94 million years ago Kem Kem Group, Morocco
This listing is for one tooth from row 3 in the main pic. Teeth are priced as EACH. I can include a free clear display container and a bed of small stones to rest the tooth on inside the container.
These teeth are all in good condition, showing serrations and nice quality enamel. Abelisaurs were medium sized carnivorous theropods, most species would have been between 5m - 9m long. Their teeth are finely serrated, triangular in shape and labio-lingually compressed (very thin, like a knife). Their hind limbs were stocky but powerful and their skull was typically deep with a short snout. One of these Abelisaur teeth will make an awesome centrepiece in your fossil collection, or be a fantastic starting point to your fossil collection. Pics don't do them justice, their size is at my cameras limit for zoom and focus.
It's important you get your fossil as soon as possible, so in most cases, I will have your fossil on a courier the workday after payment clears! The tracking number is passed on to you as soon as I book the courier.
Pick up is welcome from the Hibiscus Coast I can put it on a tracked courier anywhere in NZ for $7 (RD extra)
