Two exceptionally beautiful Royal Doulton matching bone china Water Jugs in remarkable condition.

The large jug with the handle stands 310 mm tall and is a stunning piece on its own. The scenery encompassing the peacock in shrubbery is beautiful. It has markings on the base of 7072 H.

The small vase or ladle is 130 mm tall and has the same number marking of 7072 on the base, and a matching but smaller derivation of the scenery from the large jug.

Both items are in exceptional condition with no cracks or repairs, and there is no crazing. They were were obviously made with a high quality glaze, and the gold leaf trim sets them off with a touch of class.

I have owned these items for about 30 years and they were in my family before that which partly explains their condition. As far as I know it is the first time they have been on the market.
