The Graphic was one of the most important illustrated newspapers of the 19th century, renowned for its detailed wood-engraved illustrations. Christmas numbers were special festive editions and are now highly collectible.
This issue features the original illustrated Christmas title page and period advertisements.
Condition: Age-related wear consistent with an 1885 publication, including foxing, edge wear and some staining. Pages remain intact and readable. Please refer to photos as they form part of the description.
A wonderful piece of Victorian social history, ideal for collectors, decorators, or framing individual illustrations.
