Antique Copper Egg - Escargot Pan with Hanging Ring

A trade me customer thinks Hi, this is maybe a Danish Æbleskiver pan. They were, & are, used to make small round donut type eats from a batter. Pour some in each hollow and when cooked on the bottom you use a knitting needle or similar to flick them over to cook the other side, a full ball shape when finished. Served with icing sugar or jam with coffee/tea normally.
