Rare surviving pair of Victorian period child's black leather hob-nailed everyday shoes with single strap and button fastening. Button missing on one shoe.

Condition: Strong and in good displayable condition. One of the button fasteners is missing; there is a wee slit to each shoe at the curve of the vamp (probably to allow the shoe to be worn longer by a growing foot); natural wear to the soles.
