Stewart 1.34 Hp Engine by Cooper Engineering Type PT Motor - 4 stroke not going - as the pictures show.

Stewart Four Cycle Engine by Cooper Engineering (Australia) Model PT, 1.34 horsepower & the serial number PT 530937 seems to indicate a year of 1953 (?) Weighs approx 20 kg odd

We have had this in the shed for years and never got it going (or used it) but may be of use to a collector to restore or someone for something, repair / fix, for parts, or as a prop in a movie / play etc or whatever you can think of. So again, is sold as NOT going, sold for do up or parts only etc. To me, not knowing about it, it looks quite complete for a 70 plus year old motor. There is no tank cap.

It turns freely, seems to have a smidge of compression (but not much - could be just a valve stuck open ?) but has no spark - and that is all I know about it really apart from what the pictures show.

Has no other parts or hoses or connections or anything, just the basic motor as shown in the photos. If anything is meant to be there but is not, I haven't got it & it's not part of the auction.

If you were someone who knew what they were doing and new about these things it might be useful, but with the high cost of small engine / engineer repair charges, ($100.00 an hour odd) if you can not do it yourself, it would not be worth doing or getting fixed.

So this is only good for people who can work on it & fix whatever needs fixing or use for parts and who know about these things.

Photos are there, so check them out. I could drain the oil and post if I really really had too, but this will be expensive due to size & weight - much much prefer pickup (by friend / relation passing through Waihi)

PICK (from Waihi township) AND payment MUST be made within THREE days (to ensure it does get picked up & the deal gets completed) & pickup within 3 to 4 weeks when it suits you & us together.
