This auction is for a topographical carving of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains.

This piece is 185mm wide, 275mm long and 37mm thick at the thickest part. It is made from two bits of recycled Rimu laminated together, the two lengths of timber almost look as one from the front.

The carving took a number of machining operations on a CNC router that I built myself. It is a one of a kind artwork and no other pieces of this scale and design will be made again.
