I am a local well known artist, painting from my own photographs, having displayed my work in Plimmerton, TeHoro, and now in my gallery in Kapanui Road in Waikanae. As I enjoy painting our wonderful New Zealand landscapes, many of our South Island countryside which I photograph when on holiday. This time I decided to show some of our local beauty which we love! This painting is of the Waikanae River, toward the hills east of the bridge. I enjoy painting water where there are reflections. size: 60cm x 50cm, on a stretched canvas, painted in artist quality oils. Artist : Betty Baldwin
