Purchased from an exhibition in 2004, this stunning painting was from an Oriental Bay, Wellington series which focused on all the heritage homes across Mt Victoria and above the Bay - including the eye-catching and handsome architecture of the church up on the hill by NZ artist Raymond C. Jennings. I have a comprehensive biography about the artist, which includes a list of his exhibitions. I've activated the 'Make an Offer' option. I will seriously consider respectful near-offers :-) This truly is a reluctant sale, nudged by move into a very small new home ... there just isn't the wall-space for my favourite artworks :-(
