A small original antique watercolour landscape painting with a condition issue.
Sometimes early watercolours develop staining with age and that is the case with this artwork.
The painting looks to date to near the turn of the century and features a lake scene and mountains with a man in the foreground fishing from the shore and two others on the lake in a small boat.
Also, the painting has no visible signature - perhaps it or other details are hidden at the back or behind the mount.
The visible painting measures 27cm by 18cm(the frame 41cm by 34cm), it's protected behind glass and able to be hung.
