this Book was printed in 1951 and gifted in 1953 see inscription
I can only assume that Jim was also a boxer AND.... Because I acquired this book in the Hawkes Bay I was wondering if it could have been from Tui Fau's collection he was sometimes referred to as Joe or Jim he arrived in New Zealand in 1953 and took up boxing in Auckland that same year. So it is possible Maybe maybe not
Either way this is an incredible book see the line up of all the illustrations see the index of all the chapters and subjects it covers
it is RICH with commentary of those times and all that was happening in the boxing world in the 1950's

If you are a boxing enthusiast or you like to collect memorabilia of boxing this has to be part of that collection.
