A 1951 copy of “The Rugby Almanack of New Zealand.” This was the15th year of issue, as it was published annually since 1935. It is paperback and of 194 pages. The book is very detailed on NZ Rugby and I have shown the index pages. Amongst many others things it includes coverage of the 1950 British Lions tour – the 5 players of the year – 5 promising players which includes Peter Jones – provincial teams with many photos – the Ranfurly Shield matches – match centurions including George Nepia, etc. This copy is fully bound with no writing inside and in pretty nice condition seeing it is 72 yesrs old.
