Description
We converted our cute rustic tiny home 4 years ago into a fully consented small 53m2 2 bedroom cottage / minor dwelling for us to live in while we built our main house, we squeezed 5 of us here for 4 years! Everything was brand new. ( flooring, wiring, insulation, kitchen and bathroom, it was pretty much a full build, the only original parts is the windows / sliders, roof and the iron cladding. We have been using it the past year for woofer accommodation which has been great but now it is time for it to move on and bring some other family some memories. It has a full size kitchen made by vision joinery comes with all appliances, has a large deck you are welcome to take or leave, laundry on the porch, one main size bedroom and one smaller, open plan living living with small fold down table and tiny fire to heat. It is located in Broomfield ( 10 mins out of Amberley ) crane and carry originally moved it from Christchurch for us for around 5k this was shifted as a complete cottage minus the deck, which we built this on later. Sitting on piles so it would be an easy shift. The building Is 7.9 x 7.3 that includes external roof veranda overhanging on the deck and the deck is 7.3 x 2.8. It could do with some small things finishing off like skirting and architrave but completely fine to live in as is. May suit someone like us who needs somewhere to live while building a main house or even go off grid with very little mortgage or extra income as air bnb accommodation. Needs to be viewed photos don’t do it justice. Gas bottles, water pump and softener not included could come furnished if wanted. I can email through photos of the build/ renovation and coucil consent documentations. This will need to be shifted before winter / rain sets in as our land gets very boggy and trucks will not be able to move it, mid Canterbury house movers have previously quoted someone else to move so I would recommend getting prices from them as well as crane and carry. Any other questions just ask. Looking for $100k

Hi there, is it double glazed and easy to heat? heidiwillsoar (5 • 1:07 pm, Wed, 15 Apr )Hi it’s single glaze, we have roller blinds in lounge and main bedroom and it locked the heat in well. The tiny fire cranks. With our woofers we just had a couple of small oil heaters for them which worked instead of them having to light a fire fire cranks cb_js (7 • Wednesday, 15 April 2026 )Could you give a house plan with measurements? Interested in the size of the lounge and bedrooms, and layout heidiwillsoar (5 • 1:39 pm, Wed, 15 Apr )Hi I don’t have a plan with measurements, I have a floor plan which went to council but we mad small changes during building. Il upload that to give you an idea. But we removed the wardrobe from the small room, that space then became the main room wardrobe area, we moved the master door way and put it on a angle so we could open the door without hitting our bed. Kitchen stopped in a u shape instead of wrapping around to the door. Welcome to come and view yourself cb_js (7 • Wednesday, 15 April 2026 )Please note the floor plan is slightly different to what we built. Small room had its wardrobe removed to make main room bigger , removed small linen cupboard between bedroom doors, master door way is on a angle to avoid door hitting bed, kitchen is u shape and ends on the back wall does not wrap around to entry door, and we added porch on to make overall foot print a square Seller comment Thursday, 16 April 2026 Hello, would it be possible to view this?
