Each site and council can treat this differently, so it’s best to confirm based on your specific setup and intended use. Feel free to message us with your location and what you’re planning — we can give you more accurate guidance based on that. 22unlimited (126 • Saturday, 2 May 2026 )Just wondering if this can be set up as a permanent dwelling and does it have a code of compliance and does it meet building standards tuira3 (-1 • 10:51 am, Tue, 5 May )These units are not supplied as pre-consented permanent dwellings from the factory, they’re factory-built, relocatable structures. Technically they can be set up as a permanent dwellings, but this would require additional site works and going through the proper compliance process. Most people use them as extra living spaces, temporary buildings, sleep-outs, minor dwellings, or relocatable accommodations. 22unlimited (126 • Tuesday, 5 May 2026 )As I would definitely like to buy one with my kiwisaver tuira3 (-1 • 10:51 am, Tue, 5 May )On their own, these units typically would not qualify for KiwiSaver withdrawal, as they are not supplied as pre-consented permanent dwellings. The main design of these units is versatility — they are easily transportable, portable, around 90–95% pre-built, and ready to use once unfolded. Most people use them as extra living spaces, temporary buildings, sleepouts, minor dwellings, or relocatable accommodation. 22unlimited (126 • Tuesday, 5 May 2026 )How much to have this done for a 20ft Compliance information for the tiny home for / exaple, certificates showing the dwelling meets building standards and is habitable as a permanent residence. This is all I need to get my kiwisaver out and put it on my land, no council consent or engineer report tuira3 (-1 • 3:19 pm, Tue, 5 May )Hi, please contact us trough our website to discuss this further.
