An amazing and ever developing Marine and Wildlife Centre, an ice-cream parlour and a booking office. It is located on the main ring road in one of the most high density traffic areas in Rarotonga. • Touch pool

• Salt water displays (5) including stonefish, community tank, predator tank, octopus tank and puffer fish tank.

The Centre also has a rehabilitation area for:

• Bird rescue (aviary and glass cabinets (for chicks))
• Turtle rescue (large turtle rescue tank).

Entry to the Centre is via the Lickity Splitz ice-cream parlour, which sells tickets through the Centre, ice-creams (real fruit and rolled), sundaes, splitz, smoothies, frappes, espresso coffee, canned drinks, toasted sandwiches, cake and biscuits. There is a large covered dining area off to the side, with a children’s play area incorporated into it.

An extra revenue can be achieved via sale of tours for commission.

The Discover Marine and Wildlife Eco Centre was opened in 2019 and is growing in reputation and popularity. Prior experience in this field is not necessary as training can be given. The business can be run entirely by one person in the low season and 1.5 during peak season.
