Nothing beats a compact excavator for versatility, site works, landscape excavation, moving rocks or grappling debris. The only thing an excavator cant do efficiently is move material any distance. DeSite ASM changes all that with an extreme duty dump trailers purpose built for compact excavators. The Dump Trailer, EDT-2, weighs 730kg and holds 1.8 m3

The bin is manufactured from 9mm thick steel plate for the abuse of hauling products like concrete and boulders that tear up a standard duty trailer. The design for the trailer includes extreme duty stub axles and bearings that can handle up to a 4500kg working load. 10.00 x 16.5 skidsteer tires can be in a single or dual axle configuration. All moving parts have grease nipples
The trailer tow eye attaches to the blade of the digger with a supplied pintle hitch with a weld in flush socket, the hitch shaft pinned at the rear of the blade. Dump the bin like a standard trailer but the fastest and most efficient way is to simply push material out with the bucket
There are so many places that you can use a trailer
- Concrete demolition
- Bedding pipes and other utilities
- Moving oversize rock
- Removing stumps
- Moving excavated material
- Transporting landscape material
No hydraulics are installed -take the trailer into areas where stumps, rocks and brush could tear off or break cylinders and lines. No worries. Push material out the end of the bin by bucket and hoist up the bin by lifting the steel cable loop at the head of the bin when the project is finished
Load the trailer between the sides of a standard equipment trailer or truck deck. Leave the dump bin trailer connected to the excavator for quick and efficient transport
