I finally got sick of burning holes in shirts and pants when grinding and welding so went hunting for a welding apron. What's on the market were just lightweight ones, so I set about designing my own. I wanted heavy, quick throw on and built tough. Working with a local leather worker, I designed these to meet my needs as an engineer and also they're great workshop eye candy. These are thick leather so hot steel can rest on the apron. When adjusted they fit like a glove!

So if you want a strong NZ handmade apron that's built to last, grab one of these. They're an incredibly useful item to have in your workshop! These are not imported, but handmade locally from high quality NZ leather!
