The ToolShed MIG 160 welder is a great entry level MIG welding machine and is suitable for onsite welders repair workshops automotive workshops farm workshops etc. It offers the user a 160-amp DC gas/gasless MIG welder and a 130-amp DC Arc welder (lead included) all in one. Fitted with a high-quality wire feed system this machine is very smooth and doesn't encounter the problems often found with cheaper wire feed units. It is also fitted with fine voltage/current controls which are extremely smooth to weld with. The output current goes as low as 30 amps which makes it ideal for small panel-steel work. Its polarity can also be reversed easily so that gas and gasless wire can be used. It can take 1-5kg spools of MIG wire. With the flick of a switch and attachment of the arc lead this machine can be set up as a full DC arc welder. Offering a current range from 30-130 Amps which is suitable for running electrodes from 2 - 3.2mm. It comes with a heavy-duty earth lead with dinse (quick change bayonet style) connectors a 3m 150amp Binzel style Eurofit MIG torch and consumables to get you started. Superior design lets you control all the modes of this machine within seconds. The rated duty cycle is 20% at 160 Amps. It is fan cooled with over temperature cut out to protect it. All of this is housed in a lightweight package with a carry handle weighing just 11Kg.
